Snow scenes at the University of Jordan

This my first winter in Amman in 21 years and what a DANDY!
I thought I would be escaping North Dakota’s cold winters by spending 10 months at the University of Jordan in Amman. It turned out mother nature had a different plan-as usual. My wife and I took a beautiful walk this morning at the JU campus. The snow covered trees and landscape have created an exquisite portrait that words can’t describe. We even saw Bluejays flying around the trees on campus.

Ok so it is a little chilly, the water was not running in the supply pipes this morning, the satellite receiver acts up, but the beauty of the snow, together with the serenity of Amman this morning more than make up for it. Oh did I say how nice it is not to hear traffic noise!

beautiful photos :) thanks for sharing.

I studied at UJ, and it's amazing to see those streets in a completely different light under the snow.

Thanks Lina.

Yes the snow does a good job in covering imperfections :-)

Living at JU's housing has one benefit and that is to be able to enjoy the beautiful campus. Very few areas offer such nice trees and easy access!

Stay warm.
